Agile Leadership
This course takes the participants through a journey of self-discovery and development to become more responsive to change and to be able to operate, create and foster an agile culture and organisation.
The need for an agile organisation, one that is capable of adjusting to continuous change has never been greater. The current turbulent times and the ever-changing markets of today are exerting constant pressure on organisations to reinvent themselves in order to survive and succeed in a battlefield where new trends emerge and where competition is global and fierce. An agile organisation is the one that can move quickly, decisively and effectively to anticipate, initiate and take advantage of change in a timely manner without losing the big picture. It exploits opportunities, avoids major collisions, absorbs and reacts to major disruptions and sustains performance over time as the environment changes

Our Approach
Agility is very much concerned with alertness to changes and the capability to use resources in responding to changes in a timely, flexible and assertive manner and that’s exactly how we approach agility.
First, we look into ‘alertness’ and how to spot challenges, risks and opportunities. How do we monitor the environment? How one deal with uncertainty and the unexpected? What processes do we need to have in place to be on top of all the sudden changes in the environment and the market place?
Secondly, we look into the Organisation and the Leader’s capability to deal with the challenges and changes that are in front of them. How do we respond to changing market demands? How can we change our structure and processes to be more adaptable and responsive? How can we streamline processes and performance? How can we drive improvement?
Finally, we look into how we act in the face of those challenges. How do we lead people through change? What is our change management approach? What type of leader am I during turbulent times?
Participants will experiment with prototyping, learn from mistakes, and develop their spontaneity. Collaboration and trust become even more important when dealing with uncertainty, as agile leaders rely on empowered teams to get things done. Innovative Problem Solving is also explored, as a way of creating new solutions for the constantly changing needs of our clients.
